I believe that a good "fit" between counsellor and client is important.
Whether it's me or another provider out there, I simply want you to get connected with the best person for you.

Approach
THE COUNSELLING SUPPORT I OFFER IS ROOTED IN AN INTEGRATIVE, TRAUMA-INFORMED, AND NON-PATHOLOGIZING PERSPECTIVE.
I weave my Western academic/professional counselling training with my own heart-centered and intuitive inner knowing. While I know from my own personal and professional experience that counselling can be a wonderful way to support mental and emotional wellness, I also
know it is not the only way. I value a holistic approach to overall mind-body-spirit wellness, and view counselling as merely one "tool" in the "toolbox" that can be supportive for overall wholeness of being.
Further to my approach, I acknowledge the ways in which oppressive systems and structures (i.e., colonialism, racism, white supremacy, patriarchy) can often contribute to the “symptoms” we call anxiety, depression, trauma, hopelessness, shame, core wounds, loss of identity. disconnection from self, and disconnection from the natural world.
I gravitate toward the perspective that much of what we call "symptoms" are understandable adaptations to chronic stress, trauma. and disconnection.
In the fast-paced hustle and bustle of the modern world, sometimes we find ourselves struggling to keep up. We may feel lost, disconnected from ourselves. Perhaps there’s a loud call, or a subtle whisper nudging us to go within, but we’re unsure where to begin.
I FOCUS ON:

Integration of one's cognitive, emotional, somatic, and spiritual experience.

Supporting folks who identify as "feeling lost, numb, stuck, and/or struggling" from a place of unconditional positive regard.

Unpacking, exploring and integrating transpersonal experiences and other experiences of non-ordinary states of consciousness.

Supporting you to be in connection with your truest self essence.
